Assurance on Cremeno’s CAS and New Tenders for Migrant Reception in Lecco
Recently, concerns were raised by the minority group La Voce regarding the CAS (Centro di Accoglienza per stranieri) in Cremeno. The group claimed that the Maggio community is forced to manage an excessive number of guests without adequate support, leading to inadequate structures and deficient services within the locality.
These apprehensions have now been addressed, and officials have affirmed the safety and security of the CAS in Cremeno. Additionally, new tenders have been announced for migrant reception services in the Lecco area, aiming to improve infrastructure and support systems to better handle the needs of incoming migrants.
