Hiker Rescued After 200-Meter Fall in Grigna
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Valsassina – Valvarrone alpine rescue station, part of the XIX Lariana Delegation, conducted a rescue operation in Grigna Settentrionale, located in the municipality of Pasturo. A 33-year-old hiker slipped and fell approximately 200 meters down the southeast slope, just below the Brioschi Hut.
The rescue team was quickly dispatched to the scene to assist and retrieve the injured individual, ensuring a swift response to the emergency in this popular hiking area.
