Hydrofoils Resume Service on Wednesday Noon After 9-Day Flood Hiatus
As of noon on Wednesday, hydrofoils have resumed their operations after a nine-day suspension due to severe flooding in the Lake Como area. The “Freccia delle Valli” will ensure the completion of today’s five scheduled trips between Como and Varenna. The resumption of services will be gradual, owing to the lake’s suboptimal conditions caused by remaining debris.
This update provides a significant relief for both locals and visitors who rely on this crucial form of transportation. However, passengers are advised to remain cautious and stay updated on any further changes to the travel schedule.
