Low Water Levels Affect Parking in Tremezzina
The water level of Lake Como has dropped significantly, currently sitting fifteen centimeters below the average. This decline has led to the development of several issues along the lake’s banks. As a consequence, the municipality of Tremezzina has made the decision to close the blue parking spaces located near the scenic promenade by Villa Carlotta.
The extreme low levels of the lake are not only affecting parking but are also raising concerns about the lake’s biodiversity and the integrity of the shorelines.
Visitors to the area should be aware of these changes when planning their trips, particularly if they rely on local parking facilities for their lakefront activities.
